Almond Oatmeal Bowl
Adding shredded coconut and almond flakes to your oatmeal takes it up a notch with some crunchiness and nutty flavors.
For the coconut flavor and texture, you can opt for coco bombs. I made these with our Baobab Balance & Beauty Blend. You can prepare a batch and just reach for it as a snack or a great addition to your oatmeal bowl.
INGREDIENTS
For Coco Bombs
1 cup desiccated coconut
4 tablespoons of coconut milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1 tablespoon of Baobab Balance & Beauty Blend
2 tablespoons of honey
For Amaranth Latte
1 teaspoon of Amaranth Daily Greens Blend
4 oz of warm non-dairy milk
1 tablespoon of honey
STEPS FOR OATMEAL - Microwave Option
Mix 1/2 cup of oats, salt, and 1 cup of water in a microwave-safe bowl
Heat in the microwave on high for 2 minutes. Add 15 seconds increments if necessary until oatmeal is soft enough
Bring out and stir
STEPS FOR COCO BOMBS
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl
Scoop the mixture and roll it into a ball
place on a parchment-lined plate
Refrigerate overnight or place in the freezer for at least 1 hour
Use as required and store the rest in the freezer
STEPS FOR AMARANTH LATTE
Mix 1 teaspoon of Amaranth Daily Greens with 1 tablespoon of water
Add 4 oz of warm non-dairy milk & 1 tablespoon of honey and mix
FINAL STEPS
Pour amaranth latte over oatmeal then add almond flakes and coco bombs.
