Superfood Chia Parfait
Enjoy the wellness benefits of our Amaranth Daily Greens in this delicious cup of perfection! This superfood chia parfait recipe was created by the wonderful duo, Vernon & Simone (@leafeaters on IG). Reach for it when you are in the mood for a healthy, delicious snack or breakfast.
INGREDIENTS
For Chia Pudding
4 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
For Green Smoothie
2 cups packed spinach
1/2 cup oats
4 tbs. flax seed powder
1 large banana
1 apple
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups water
1 tbs. of Amaranth Daily Greens Blend
STEPS FOR CHIA PUDDING
Mix the chia seeds with almond milk and vanilla extract.
Stir well until the seeds are all covered with liquid.
Let it sit overnight to set.
STEPS FOR GREEN SMOOTHIE
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
FINAL STEPS
Pour the set chia pudding into a glass or jar and top with the green smoothie. Garnish with berries, coconut flakes, nuts, or seeds.
