Baobab Beauty Bowl

Oatmeal has become my go-to breakfast this winter because it has a short prep time and it keeps me full for a long while. To spruce my oatmeal with colors and supercharge it with more nutrients, I often reach for berries or figs and ORÍSUN Baobab Balance and Beauty Blend.

I either make a latte with the blend and add it to my oatmeal or I just sprinkle the blend over my oatmeal when I don’t feel like using milk. You can’t go wrong either way.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats

  • 1 cup of water

  • A pinch of salt

  • 1 tablespoon of Baobab Balance & Beauty Blend

  • 1 tablespoon of honey

  • 40z of warm non-dairy milk of choice - optional

  • Berries or fruit of choice

STEPS FOR OATMEAL - Stovetop Option

  • Bring the water to boil in a pot over medium heat

  • Add oats and a pinch of salt

  • Let oats boil for about 5 minutes while stirring occasionally

  • Remove pot from the stovetop, cover, and let sit for 2-3 minutes

  • Serve hot in a bowl

STEPS FOR OATMEAL - Microwave Option

  • Mix oats, salt, and water in a microwave-safe bowl

  • Heat in the microwave on high for 2 minutes. Add 15 seconds increments if necessary until oatmeal is soft enough

  • Bring out and stir

FINAL STEPS

  • Pour beauty latte over oatmeal then add fruit toppings and honey

  • Enjoy!

For the milk-free option, sprinkle the Baobab Balance & Beauty Blend on your cooked oatmeal and add fruit toppings and honey.
